The hugely successful MotoSix event held at Donington Park on 28th-29th March will be shown on TV commencing on the 18th April.
The inaugural Six Nations for Motorcycles was a great success and enjoyed by riders and spectators alike. The four solo races, two 600cc and two 1000cc, produced superb racing and was convincingly won by Northern Ireland with 347 points from England with 443 points and Scotland trailing in third place on 516 points.
The Northern Ireland star Alastair Seeley won the first 600 race and changed immediately to his 1000cc machine to beat England’s Richard Cooper by 0.01 of a second. He came within half a second of repeating the exercise the second time round but Cooper managed to stay in front to take the 1000cc race by half a second.
And the action wasn’t just restricted to two wheels with the Sidecars getting involved with some full contact, paint swapping racing.
Supporting the MotoSix event was the R&G Racing Suzuki GSX-R Trophy and the F2 Sidecars both of which will be included in the TV highlights package. To see the entire race action tune in to one of the shows listed below.
