Nottingham's Richard Cooper won both legs of the 2009 Stars at Darleyrace on Sunday. Cooper not only set a new lap record of 53.48 secs at a speed of 100.97 mph, but setting a new Race Record of 9m 05.62 secs aspeed of 98.97 mph inleg one.

Then in leg two he repeated his lap record and set a new Race Record of 9m 05.39 secs a speed of 99.01mph.

With Darley fielding one of the most impressive line ups of "Stars" it was another great day, unfortunately John McGuiness came to grief on the saturday breaking his hand and taking no further part.
