Following the fortunes of our supported rider Rob Hoyles it turns out that Rob's joy at the recent BMCRC – MRO Championships held on the 26th & 27th April 2008 at Cadwell Park, was short lived
With some inspired riding to gain impressive results it was clear that the DYNA-PRO SUPERSPORT 600 belonged to Billy Mellor posting some very impressive times with a pole in qualifying and two race wins, it was left for the others to follow, although not very far behind.
Rob's third place in Saturday qualifying followed up with two seconds places were the start of the season turn around we were expecting, until lady luck bit his arse again.
Armed with the two cups he travelled to Snetterton for a track day to get some extra track time only for reality to sink in with, 'a bit of a bump' and bring the joy back to Earth, as the saying goes.
A fast crash at Sear corner left him with a ground little finger(see picture) and wondering when his luck is going to change.
