AMB LED INDICATIONS OF RECHARGEABLE TRANSPONDERS Thursday, 05 February 2009
 
 

 LED Flashing Colour / Pattern 

 Description 

 Flashing ... times green  Minimum ... days left before the battery is empty 
 Flashing red (not in charger)  Less than 1 day of functioning left
 Continuously Red  The Transponder can stop working at any moment  
 No light  Transponder discharged or switched off
 Flashing Red (in the charger)  Transponder is charging
 Continuous Green (in the charger)  Transponder fully charged
 
Caution
 
MAKE SURE THE TRANSPONDER IS DRY BEFORE CHARGING
 
MAKE SURE THE CONTACT POINTS ON THE TRANSPONDER AND IN THE CHARGING CRADLE ARE CLEAN.
 
CHARGE THE TRANSPONDER ONCE EVERY 3 MONTHS
 
DO NOT LEAVE THE TRANSPONDER IN A POWERED CHARGING CRADLE MORE THAN 24 HOURS 
 
Consult the charging and cleaning instructions of rechargeable transponders where complete specifications of type 3 transponders can be retrieved in the relevant System Manual
