The ACU has confirmed that there will be no increase in the cost of a motorcycle Competition Licence for the 2010 season.
An ACU Licence has been priced at £43 since 2008 and the decision not to increase the price will be good news for all motorcycle competitors in the UK.
Also, the ACU has announced that it will be repeating its very popular service at this year’s Dirt Bike and NEC Motorcycle shows, where new Off Road Competition Licence holders apply for a 2010 Competition Licence for an off road discipline for the discounted price of £25.
A licence lasts for 12 months or to the 31st December, whichever comes first and licence holders have the benefit of receiving Sportmoto magazine four times a year plus discounts on riding kit and other products all of which are exclusive to ACU licence holders.
ACU Chairman Jim Parker is pleased that the ACU has been able to hold licence costs stable for another year: “The ACU is committed to securing a stable future for our sport and keeping costs affordable and stable is central to our planning and vision for the future.”
For further information log onto the ACU wesite and download a licence application form. Alternatively visit the ACU stand at the Dirt Bike show (5-8 Nov Stoneleigh Park) and the NEC International Motorcycle Show (26th Nov to 6th Dec) and apply for your licence on the day.
