| New one make TK COPE Yamaha R6 Series at Bemsee |

Major Yamaha dealer TK Cope has teamed up with The British Motorcycle Racing Club and with support from Yamaha is offering riders the chance to race a new YZF-R6 as part of an outstanding new package.
Riders will buy their bike, kit, tyres and entry fees for the Series as one package and retain ownership of the bike at the end of the season. The TK COPE Yamaha Series will run within the MRO Stocksport Championship and riders will compete for both the MRO Championship and the TK COPE Series and if enough sign-up, then the Club will guarantee a separate grid. The Series will have selected rounds filmed for Motors TV and one round will run as a guest class at BSB.

Brand new YZF-R6 prepared to Stocksport spec.

All entries will be paid for the 2010 season; 9 rounds. 8 MRO meetings and 1 BSB meeting.

Tyre limitation, 2 rear, 1 front per meeting on Metzeler Racetec via dedicated paddock support (to help control costs for riders).

A clothing package is included within the package price, supported by RST leathers, KBC helmets and includes leathers, helmet, boots and gloves.

All riders will be invited to a pre-season event to be fitted with full race kit. A heavily subsidised replacement and repair service will be provided for damaged kit throughout the season.

Rider discounts and support for replacement parts and accessories is available to riders in the series.

The winner of the series will receive a British Superstock 600 ride including bike and entry’s and full support.

An upgrade option for this will be available to Supersport or Superstock 1000 at riders expense.

Further announcements about other sponsor partners who will offer random awards on race day will follow.
All this for £12,500 (excluding tyres) - January 1st the prices will increase to £12,775.00 due to VAT increase
Every bike remains identical, running on controlled Metzeler Racetec tyres. BMCRC Technical Officials will police the Series with compulsory inspections at every meeting, engines will be supplied sealed, all this to enable highly competitive, exciting, fair and close racing.
