We offer the following free services, which require some type of voluntary
submission of Personal Information by users to create an account for our online
shopping / race booking service you expressly consent to the use of your data
in accordance with this privacy policy.
1. Electronic newsletters policy (dispatches)
We will offer a free electronic newsletter to users. Race Not Admin gathers the
e-mail addresses of users who voluntarily subscribe. Users may remove
themselves from this mailing list by following the link provided in every
newsletter that points users to the subscription management page. Users can
also subscribe to the newsletters at the time of registration. Race Not Admin
never shares newsletter mailing lists with any third parties, including
advertisers, sponsors or partners.
2. Race booking service / online shop
Users of the site's Race booking service must register (free of charge) in
order to book race meetings to enable the processing of your request with
organising club’s. Users of the online shop can register, although not
compulsory (free of charge) in order to create an account. You can use the
online shop without saving your data to purchase goods. During registration the
user is required to supply an e-mail address, password separately for these
services.
3. "E-mail this to a friend" policy
Our site users can choose to electronically forward a link, page, or documents
to someone else by clicking "e-mail this to a friend". The user must provide
their e-mail address, as well as that of the recipient. This information is
used only in the case of transmission errors and, of course, to let the
recipient know who sent the e-mail. The information is not used for any other
purpose.
4. Polling
We may offer interactive polls to users so they can easily share their opinions
with other users and see what our audience think about important issues.
Opinions or other responses to polls are aggregated and are not identifiable to
any particular user. Race Not Admin may use a system to "tag" users after they
have voted, so they can vote only once on a particular question. This tag is
not correlated with information about individual users.
5. Surveys
Race Not Admin may occasionally conduct user surveys to better target our
content to our audience. We sometimes share the aggregated demographic
information in these surveys with our sponsors, advertisers and partners. We
never share any of this information about specific individuals with any third
party.
6. Users 16 and under
If you are aged 16 or under, please get your parent/guardian's permission
beforehand whenever you provide Personal Information to this website. Users
without this consent are not allowed to provide us with personal information
7. Usage tracking
Race Not Admin tracks user traffic patterns throughout our site. However, we do
not correlate this information with data about individual users. Race Not Admin
does break down overall usage statistics according to a user's domain name,
browser type, and MIME type by reading this information from the browser string
(information contained in every user's browser). Race Not Admin creates
aggregate reports on user demographics and traffic patterns for advertisers,
sponsors and partners. This allows our advertisers to advertise more
effectively, and allows our users to receive advertisements that are pertinent
to their needs. Because we don't track the usage patterns of individual users,
an advertiser or sponsor will never know that a specific user clicked their ad.
We will not disclose any information about any individual user except to comply
with the Data Protection Act 1998 or valid legal process or to protect the
personal safety of our users or the public.
8. Cookies
We may place a text file called a "cookie" in the browser files of your
computer. The cookie itself does not contain Personal Information although it
will enable us to relate your use of this site to information that you have
specifically and knowingly provided. But the only Personal Information a cookie
can contain is information you supply yourself. A cookie can't read data off
your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites. Race Not Admin uses
cookies to track user traffic patterns (as described above). Our advertising
system delivers a one-time cookie to better track ad impressions and click
rates. You can refuse cookies by turning them off in your browser. If you've
set your browser to warn you before accepting cookies, you will receive the
warning message with each cookie. You do not need to have cookies turned on to
use this site. However, you do need cookies to participate actively in message
boards, polling and surveys.
9. Use and storage of your personal information
We will hold your Personal Information on our systems for as long as you use
the service you have requested, and remove it in the event that the purpose has
been met, or in the case of Race Not Admin membership you no longer wish to
continue your registration as a racenotadmin.co.uk member. For safety reasons,
however, Race Not Admin may store messaging transcript data (including message
content, member names, times and dates) arising from the use of Race Not Admin
services such as Race Booking or online shop for a period of six months. Where
Personal Information is held for people who are not yet registered but have
taken part in other Race Not Admin services (e.g. competitions), that
information will be held as long as is necessary to ensure that the service is
run smoothly. We will ensure that all Personal Information supplied is held
securely in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. If you are notified
on a Race Not Admin site that your information may be used to allow Race Not
Admin to contact you for "service administration purposes", this means that the
Race Not Admin may contact you for a number of purposes related to the service
you have signed up for. For example, we may wish to notify you that the
particular service has been suspended for maintenance. We will not contact you
for promotional purposes, such as notifying you of improvements to the service
or new services on Race Not Admin unless you specifically agree to be contacted
for such purposes at the time you submit your information on the site, or at a
later time if you sign up specifically to receive such promotional information.
When you make a purchase from Race Not Admin.co.uk, we use your information to
process your race booking or online shop order. We will also send you an e-mail
to confirm your booking or order and may need to contact you via phone, postal
mail or e-mail if we have other questions regarding your booking or order.
10. Access to and updating your data
Where you are a Member, you may access and update your data accessed by the My
Account link. You must make sure that you update your data as soon as possible
with any and all relevant changes.
11. Sharing of the information Race Not Admin uses the above-described
information to tailor our content to suit your needs and help our advertisers
better understand our audience's demographics. This is essential to keeping our
service free. We will not share information about individual users with any
third party, except when a user uses the race booking service where data will
be made available to the organising club only so that the service runs smoothly
at the time of a race booking only.
12. Security
Race Not Admin operates secure data networks protected by industry standard
firewall and password protection systems. Our security and privacy policies are
periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary and only authorised individuals
have access to the information provided by our customers.
13. Other links
Please be aware that the site may link to other web sites that may be accessed
by you through our site. We are not responsible for the data policies, content
or security of these linked web sites.
14. Opt-out policy
If at any time you would like us to remove you as a member or from our email or
postal mailing lists, feel free to contact us by contacting Race Not
admin.co.uk customer service via email. Please be sure to include your email
address, full name and password. If you have previously asked to be removed
from our email mailing list, we will not sign you up for email updates if you
place an order online. Please note that it may take up to 48 hours to remove
your email address from our list. We give users options wherever necessary and
practical. Such choices include:
• Opting not to register to receive our electronic newsletters.
• Opting not to participate in certain interactive areas, which completely
alleviates the need to gather any personally identifiable information from our
users
15. Your consent
By using this site, you consent to the collection and use of this information
